For this trip, we drove two vans (yes, Granny van came through again) and two trucks that helped us take all of our things. Special thanks to Michelle/Carl James from American Fork High and Peggy/Warren Evans from Bonneville High for driving the trucks. We had an absolutely perfect place to practice on Friday night - Cannon Middle School. Kudos' to Isaac Stein, Dean of Students, who was most hospitable. We returned to the Rodeway Inn and hit the hot tub. The pool was heated but I think they forgot to turn it on until we got there because it didn't get hot until Saturday night. The next morning we practiced outside in the parking lot where we shared with another Independent A guard from New Mexico - Enchantment. Then it was on to Palo Verde High School for the competition. After the competition, we went to the Rio for their World Buffet - love that crab and shrimp! We spent the next day at Finals where we saw some awesome guards and then did the "strip". All were returned safely to their homes!
